Our CEO, Geoff Sewell and the Incognito team made centre court history last week by being the first singers invited to provide the pre-match entertainment at Wimbledon during this year’s Davis Cup Tournament. This was an unheard of honour and a lifelong dream come true for Geoff, who has dreamed of playing on centre court since he was a wee lad. The last artist to sing at Wimbledon was the legendary Sir Cliff Richard back in 1996, but even he only performed an impromptu set from the stands to entertain the crowds during an infamous wash out. Unlike our predecessor though, the talented Incognito trio were not to be stand-bound. They had full run of centre court, singing an entertaining mix of classical and contemporary arias and the national anthems of the two competing countries, Great Britain and Austria. Incognito Artists are no strangers to the stadium spotlights. Over the years we have performed at the FA Cup final, the Champions League final, the Six Nations rugby final, Rugby’s Bledisloe Cup and the World Cricket Series, but being the first to officially perform on the hallowed ground is a huge career highlight for the team.
