Oh, What a Night!

“Bravo Amici – what an amazing group of people and a show like no other! A combination of heart, inspirational voices, flair, comedy, craft and legitimate talent. Decent, caring human beings that really know the true meaning of life. Bravo Amici sparkled and dazzled on stage but their hearts were the brightest things I saw. The PASSION. When it’s truly there, it shines. There is no disguising it. Geoff wore it on his face, his chest, his sleeve, it was oozing out of him. His energy draws you in and comes from somewhere deep and honest. Pure intentions to have fun, send a message and release inner emotion that evokes change and positivity in people. All I could say is Bravo Geoff and gang for creating something as powerful and inspirational as Bravo Amici. Keep doing what you love with that big smile on your face and making the lives of those that you love better and setting an example for others to follow.”

– Athena Giannaros (audience member at St James Theatre on Monday night)

Thank you, it’s so great to get all this feedback; that everyone who was there, loved it. We LOVED it too. What a special night. Emotion and tears, joy and laughter. We’ll never forget it.

Even better than that, we’re stoked to announce that we raised £10,000 on the night! £5,000 for the Autism Trust UK and £5,000 for The Sewell Foundation. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and spirit of clients, supporters, friends and family. Very generous individuals also volunteered to cover the costs of the Theatre that night – approx £3,000 – so all the money could go to the autism charities.

On the night Simone explained that the autism epidemic is real. The reason we are seeing increasing rates of autism is because autism is a systemic body disorder that affects the brain. Research now proves a toxic environment and vaccinations can trigger this condition in susceptible children, e.g. Martha Herbert, MD, a pediatric neurologist from Harvard Medical School, has painted a picture of autism that shows how core abnormalities in body systems like immunity, gut function, and detoxification play a central role in causing the behavioural and mood symptoms of autism. Further research now proves the gut microbiome is critical in everyone’s health – how different kinds of beneficial gut bacteria influence different body systems such as digestion, brain chemistry, the immune system, metabolism, and so many others – and if negatively affected, is now considered to play a big part in the increase in autism diagnoses, treating autism and preventing it.

If you weren’t able to join us on Monday night and you wish to donate, please click below for the The Sewell Foundation fundraising page or The Autism Trust UK.

A number of people on the night commented, ‘where can we download the CDs?’ so here are the download details if you would like to download our Bravo Amici CD or Live, Love, Sing! (with Heal Me).

Making a difference is where the juice in life is.

“Grab that microphone, be brave, sing your heart out on life’s stage”.

Have an incredible week!
