"Call Me Superstar!"
A phrase I’ve uttered for 30 years, long before the Spice Girls were asking.
Back when I was a 22 year old banker at the National Bank in Wellington, New Zealand, it was said tongue-in-cheek, and received humorously and sarcastically by my colleagues. I saw it as a way of speaking my dream into reality.
Our words hold so much power
I’ve learned that words really do hold so much power: use them wisely. Speaking is a physical sound vibration and it manifests as a measurable pressure wave in 3D. We don’t hear with our ears alone, our entire skeletal system picks up the vibration of sound and transmits it into our soft tissue, which means every cell in my body ‘hears’ my intent. Isn’t that cool! And speech is powered by breath which is the carrier of our life force, so when you speak, you energise your intent with your magnificent life force.
BOOM!
But what I didn’t understand until recent years, was that I’m more accurate with this moniker than I realised.
We are ALL stars!
Our Sales Manager Katherine’s cute little three year old son, Jack, is my inspiration behind writing today – he loves the new Disney film Wish, with its song ‘I’m A Star’, with lyrics expressing this expansive thought.
Singing along to the track in the office reminded me… not only are we blessed to work with some of the biggest stars of stage and screen at Incognito Artists, with some cool new ideas we’re working on to launch asap… every single one of us is a star!
Every atom in your body was made in a star!
Dr David Hamilton says, “Every atom in your body was made in a star! That means those that make your heart, brain cells, skin, hair, teeth, bones, even the air you breathe, plus those that compose the trees, dogs and cats, rabbits and horses, lions, tigers, and bears, plus the insects, birds, fish, roads, buildings, and cars. The basic components of everything within you and around you were made in a STAR and you are deeply connected to all of it. Your body is the remnants of a star after it took its last breath.”
Mic Drop.
You knew you were shining, shimmering, splendid, right?!
Tell me, what are you calling yourself (consciously or unconsciously)?
Shine on,
Superstar
